The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Department of Film, Video, and New Media and Chicago Filmmakers present:
40 films by 40 (mostly) local makers! All unspooling for the very first time right before your eyes in glorious Super-8 color. Forty film and video makers were each invited to shoot one roll of Super-8 Kodachrome film. And they don't get to see what they shot until tonight! This Chicago event, organized by filmmaker and SAIC instructor Michele Mahoney, is part of the Global Super-8 Day (40 events in 40 cities) activities taking place worldwide in recognition of the 40th anniversary of Kodachrome 40, Super-8 film.
