Global Super 8 Day - Feedbacks On May 13, 05 we held our Super 8 anniversary party. It went great. About 150 - 200 people showed up throughout the evening and watched home movies, classic cinema on Super 8 and the results of the last Super 8 challenge. (The Super 8 challenge gives participants one roll of film to shoot a short film on. All edits in camera.) There was anniversary cake, food/drink, displays of Super 8 equipment and the good company of Super 8 enthusiasts and others within the local community. But we decided to celebrate anyway. On Friday, May 13 (8pm) we will be throwing a Super 8 anniversary party at Latitude 53 with screenings of home movies, classic cinema on Super 8, and the results of our last Super 8 challenge. (The Super 8 challenge is an activity put on by the Film and Video Arts Society in Edmonton. Participants create a short film on 1 roll of Super 8. All edits must be in camera.)
