Global Super 8 Day - Calendar of Events

DIY SUPER 8 HAND PROCESSING COURSE #769
LEE KRIST Hand-processing is a technique used widely by both commercial and low budget do-it-yourself filmmakers to achieve a unique look which simply cannot be achieved through traditional lab processing. Get a jump start on the May 8 Global Super 8 Celebration and learn techniques you can perform in your own home using buckets, jars, and easily obtainable chemicals from your local photo supply shop. The class will collectively shoot a roll of color reversal Super 8, and then go through the developing process step by step, screening the resulting footage and discussing its special aesthetic qualities. You will leave the workshop with processing recipes, and pointers for setting up your own in-home lab. No pre-requisites. Please register early, enrollment is limited.
